When we bought our new home we were looking for a home that had the space we needed for our respective hobbies, as well as room for friends and family to visit, a quiet yet friendly neighborhood, and a natural surrounding. We found that home in a log home community in the foothills of North Carolina. One of the criteria that wasn’t on our list but that I’ve come to appreciate is the way I can easily display many of my quilts with minimal effort. It is so easy to change which quilts are on display on the railing to my loft. And yes, it is “my loft”. That is my designated Quilt Studio.
